Our Story

Blade & Rose is a leading British children’s clothing brand founded in Kendal in the Lake District by Mum Amanda Peffer in 2010.

Inspired by her children, Harvey Blade and Issey Rose, Amanda created the original character leggings with playful designs on the bottom , something completely new to the babywear market at the time.

In the early days Amanda returned to her full time job and built the business in the evenings and weekends, alongside her husband Jon, while raising their two young children.

What started as a small idea during maternity leave has grown into a founder run family business now celebrating 15 years, with products loved by families and stocked by retailers around the world.

Blade & Rose is known for its playful designs, premium quality and soft, comfortable fabrics, with collections now including leggings, character hoodies, clothing and accessories designed to make little ones smile while supporting everyday adventures.  Sizes range from newborn to 6yrs
